UFC 196 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 11, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
It is the second UFC event in which UFC president Dana White will be the guest of honor.
In the main event, Stipe Mocic (16-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) returns to the cage after suffering a first-round TKO loss to former champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 196.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion, who fought twice in 2016, defeated the Brazilian by unanimous decision in the third round.
Moccic, the No. 3 ranked light heavyweight in the world, is coming off a unanimous decision win over former champion and UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones in December.
Moccics latest victory over Jones marked his third straight loss.
In fact, Moccs first UFC win came on Feb. 18, 2016, against Josh Burkman at UFC 181.
The win came despite Mocs opponent’s inability to land punches.
Mocaic defeated Burkman with the first round submission of his career in his most recent fight, a submission of Cody Garbrandt at UFC 194.
The former UFC lightweight champion will look to regain the crown he lost to Jones in 2015, which was his second consecutive defeat in his first UFC appearance.
He has defeated Jones once in his career.
Stipe Mecic is one of the most exciting prospects in the sport.
