SAN ANTONIO — This time, there will be a lot more fans in attendance than usual.
San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will wear a T-shirt with the words “Black Swan” printed on it in his honor at Toyota Center on Sunday night.
The shirt is one of five that the Spurs will wear for their game against the Houston Rockets, which will be the second of three on this homestand.
Ginobil, who scored 16 points in his Spurs debut against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, is not the only San Antonio player who will be wearing a T, as Tony Parker will wear one of the T-shirts.
Parker is the fourth player in NBA history to wear a black Swans shirt, joining Kobe Bryant (1989-90), Dennis Rodman (2000-01) and Tracy McGrady (2012-13).
T-shirts and other merchandise are available at the event and at the Toyota Center concession stand.
Spurs fans will also be able to purchase T-Shirts from the Spurs website and at select merchandise stands in the arena.
The Spurs have already worn two T-shirts at this point in the season.
Tickets to the game are still available for purchase online and can be purchased at the Spurs Ticket Office, the Ticketmaster store, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or by visiting www.sanantonio.com/tickets.
The game will be broadcast live on TNT, with the Spurs starting at 7 p.m. PT.
