The top 10 reasons to miss the Oculus Rift on September 8, 2018

In the run-up to Oculus Rift’s official release date on September 6, 2018, I wrote a post on my blog explaining why I would avoid the virtual reality headset.

The post garnered over 1,000 comments from readers and helped me to build my own understanding of virtual reality.

As an Oculus Rift fan, the post sparked a lot of debate.

Some people were very upset about my choice of words; others thought I should have used “suck it up” or “get it over with” instead of “go for it” or something along those lines.

It seems like I’m not alone in this.

Many people are now questioning the merits of the Oculus VR headset.

A new article in TechCrunch reveals some of the major reasons why people are avoiding the virtual worlds of the future.

It also includes some of my favorite comments from my Facebook post.

I’ll be updating this post as I hear more about the reasons why Oculus Rift fans are avoiding virtual reality for the next few weeks.

1.

The VR experience is too small.

I first heard this argument from a friend who was an Oculus VR fanatic.

In my opinion, the Oculus virtual reality experience is way too small compared to what we have in our current VR devices.

The Oculus Rift is so large, the device only has room for two players at a time.

When I first saw a VR headset at an Oculus booth, I was very impressed.

After a brief demo, I realized I could barely see through the headset, so I was a bit surprised that it could only support a few people at a point.

I had been hoping to use the Oculus Touch controllers to control the Oculus headset and move around, but I quickly realized that it was far too small for this.

I’ve never felt so uncomfortable with a VR experience.

It’s hard to see the whole world, and it’s difficult to tell how far away objects are.

I was even more disappointed to find out that the Oculus tracking system could not be used to determine the distance of a virtual object from my body.

While I’m happy to see Oculus are making the Oculus system more robust and able to track more objects, it’s still a frustrating experience.

I’m still waiting for the Oculus to release a larger headset to allow me to use Touch controllers, which I think will be a great addition to the Oculus experience.

The solution?

Create a larger, more immersive headset.

This is why I’m so disappointed in Oculus.

If the Oculus was truly designed to be a truly immersive VR experience, it should have at least allowed for the option of using a larger screen size.

The Rift has the potential to be too expensive.

Many Oculus Rift owners believe that the Rift will be the “bigger, better, faster” VR headset available.

They believe that Oculus will make it cheaper than competing VR headsets like HTC Vive and PlayStation VR.

Oculus has yet to announce any pricing for its Oculus Rift headset, but it’s easy to assume that it will be significantly more expensive than its competition.

The headset is expected to cost around $200 USD, and its estimated release date is September 12.

This seems like a huge price tag to me.

I think that a cheaper headset with more capabilities would have helped Oculus Rift succeed.

I don’t think Oculus Rift will come in a cheaper box, but a cheaper version of the headset will definitely help its sales.

3.

The price will be too high.

Oculus Rift headsets will be priced at around $400 USD and upwards, and I would be very surprised if the price of the Rift was lower than this.

In fact, it seems that Oculus Rift could cost as much as $2,500 USD if it were to launch on September 12th.

While it’s possible that the price could drop a bit during its first few weeks of sales, the more people who buy the Oculus Oculus Rift, the higher the price will eventually come down.

The fact is that we’ll see how many Oculus Rift customers actually end up buying the Oculus Rifts for the full price of $2 to $3,000 USD.

4.

The headsets will cost too much to be worth it.

This may sound obvious, but the Oculus platform has proven to be incredibly popular with gamers.

It has attracted millions of gamers and developers and is expected by many to become a major source of revenue for the company in the future, as well.

The reason why Oculus VR headsets are so popular is because of the incredible user experience.

While the Oculus headsets are designed for gamers, they can also be used by everyone.

It is incredibly difficult to find a good VR experience without being immersed in the VR world.

It would be amazing to have a headset that could let anyone play in a VR world, but most gamers won’t have the opportunity to experience VR at a high level.

The more people that can play in VR, the better.
