Sony has canceled an event at its Los Angeles studios after “terrorist threats.”
The company said on its website Wednesday evening that it is canceling the event because “the safety of our employees and guests is our highest priority.”
The statement came as “a number of terrorist threats” were made against Sony executives, the statement said.
“We must keep working to protect our employees, guests, and the public from these threats,” it continued.
“Sony is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and welcoming environment for our employees to work and play.
Our employees and our guests deserve nothing less.”
